Looking for a housemate to occupy a master bedroom in a 5-bedroom, single story house with 3 other housemates.
The house is in a predominantly single-family home neighborhood, and is quiet with plenty of street parking.
It is conveniently located a half hour walk/10min bike ride from Oregon State University, two blocks away from Fred Meyer for groceries, 4 blocks from Coffee Culture and close to much more.
The room is approx.
200sqft.
It has a small walk-in closet and low maintenance woodgrain laminate floors throughout.
The bathroom has a pedestal sink and shower combo.
The rest of the house is furnished and includes the common areas: living room with TV, dining room, reading room, kitchen and laundry room.
The kitchen has common-use silverware, pots/pans, and cooking utensils.
We do not share food (though we sometimes coordinate and cook meals together), laundry detergent or other personal consumables.
Additionally, the front and backyard have seating/eating areas, a charcoal grill, and raised vegetable garden beds.
Some storage space is available in the garage which is accessible from the outside by a keypad for easy bicycle storage.
The existing housemates are graduate students/part-time employed/recently graduated.
When we are not focused on work/studying we like trying new recipes and going on short hikes around town.
We are looking for someone who is easy to communicate with, doesn't mind pitching in to keep the communal areas in order.
Not accepting anymore pets at this time.
Rent is $720/month for the master bedroom with utilities billed separately depending on usage.
Lease is for 6 months.
There is a $45 application fee with background check to apply.
