- Monitor patients' progress and document accurate observations and treatment results.
- Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques, use of assistive devices, and home care procedures.
- Provide necessary assistance during therapeutic interventions, such as transfers and ambulation.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized treatment area.
- Ensure patient comfort and maintain confidentiality throughout the treatment process.
- Comply with all legal and ethical guidelines within the scope of practice.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and with diverse patient populations.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to accurately record patient information.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive movements and assist patients in various activities.
- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques, exercise physiology, and anatomy.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices.
- CPR certification and basic life support training.
- Commitment to upholding professional standards and continuing education in the field.
