Valley Float Position - Opportunity to work in Corvallis, Albany, and Lebanon Primary and Specialty care clinics.
This position will receive an hourly Float Pool differential in addition to the base hourly rate due to the needs of the Float Pool/Resource Team.
JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Assists practitioner in performance of procedures, telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient record and relaying test results.
Provides safe and quality nursing care under the direction of SHS practitioners and the Clinic Supervisor within scope of practice.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Primary and Specialty care teams at Samaritan Health Services offer complete health care for all family members from newborns to seniors through their pediatric, family medicine, internal medicine and specialty care providers.
They encourage and offer preventive care, including annual exams, health screenings and counseling regarding health and lifestyle.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Current unencumbered Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure required.
Healthcare Provider BLS required.
Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Lab/EKG experience preferred.
