Job Summary The Substance Use Disorder Specialist Qualified Mental Health Associate provides recovery oriented substance abuse treatment and case management.
They provide an array of services to a mixed caseload of individuals with substance use disorders.
Services are offered in individual and group settings utilizing evidence-based clinical practice and skills and in compliance with program standards.

Annual salary range of $61,448 - $82,932 This position guarantees two salary raises within your first year.

Minimum Qualifications The following minimum qualifications are required for this position: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Applied Behavior Analysis or closely related field from an accredited college or university; AND 2 years of experience in mental health, drug court, counseling or closely related field; Must be registered as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) with Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO) or be able to obtain certification within 6 months of hire AND Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) certification at the time of hire is required.
An equivalent combination of work experience and education may be accepted.
Please note candidates must have at least 6 months of actual work experience to be considered as equivalent.

Ideal Candidate Has experience working with individuals that have co-occurring disorders of substance use and severe mental illness.
Has experience working with Medications for Opiate Use Disorders (MOUD) Program Has experience working in collaboration with community providers Knowledge based on someone's perspective, personal identities, and history beyond their professional or educational experience.
Comfortable working out in the community and providing crisis intervention/resolution and case management.
