Job Summary:
As the Director of Surgery (Medical Director), you will oversee and lead all surgical activities within our healthcare facility.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide strategic direction and leadership for the surgical department, collaborating with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall performance.

Oversee surgical operations, including scheduling of procedures, equipment maintenance, and supply management, to ensure smooth workflow and optimal resource utilization.
3.
Develop and implement policies and protocols to maintain a safe surgical environment, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and evaluation of surgical staff, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and competencies to deliver high-quality care.

Coordinate with the hospital's administration to develop and manage the surgical department's budget, ensuring financial viability and effective resource allocation.

Qualifications and Skills:

A medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
2.
Board certification in surgery from a recognized medical board.
3.
Proven experience as a surgeon, preferably in a leadership or management capacity.

Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, surgical techniques, and patient care best practices.
