*Job Summary*: The Assistant Director of Nursing supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing the Nursing Services department.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest quality of patient care, adhering to legal standards and company policies.
*Qualifications*: * ASN or BSN from an accredited institution.
* Active RN license in good standing.
* Preferred: Two years of geriatric nursing experience, especially in post-acute care.
* CPR certification (required upon hire or during orientation).
*Key Responsibilities*: * Collaborate with patients, families, and departments for optimal patient care.
* Decision-making and knowledge application in accordance with laws and facility guidelines.
* Departmental program implementation and policy interpretation.
* Supervisory duties and maintaining professional relationships.
* Uphold confidentiality and comply with company policies and procedures.
* Assist in departmental management, staff training, and infection control.
* Perform nursing duties as necessary and ensure team coordination.
