*Who is Long-Term CareWorks?*
We at Long-Term CareWorks provide CNA training at no cost to you, support in taking your OSBN CNA licensing exam, and full-time employment at a long-term care facility.
*What is a CNA?*
A Certified Nursing Assistant, or CNA, is a licensed professional who assists individuals with daily activities like bathing, eating, and transporting themselves.
This work has a lasting impact on an individual’s physical health, mental well-being, and overall independence.
Licensed CNAs earn $18+/hr base pay with opportunity for advancement.
*What is an apprenticeship and what is the schedule?*
By joining the CNA Apprenticeship, you’ll receive the training and support you need to start your career as a CNA at a skilled nursing facility, as well as mentorship to help you advance in the long-term care profession.
Learn alongside other apprentices and get hands-on experience in a guided learning environment.
* Training
* 6 weeks of online & in-person training
* Job placement at a union represented long-term care facility
* Support passing Oregon State Board of Nursing CNA licensing exam
* Career mentorship, support and future career mapping
* Shifts are 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am.
All shifts include some weekend work.
