*Overnight Veterinary Technician/Assistant Position*
River’s Edge Pet Medical Center is a _*private, *_family-owned_ *routine and urgent care*_ veterinary facility located in Albany, Oregon.
Our busy Urgent Care + Day Time Veterinary Facility is looking to add to our team! We are a full service, multi-doctor hospital that cares for our communities' small animals and horses.
We are seeking _enthusiastic _individuals who thrive in a fast-paced and fun environment.
Our ideal candidates are _*compassionate, have strong communication skills, and a desire to learn.
*_ Experience with Cornerstone Software, IDEXX in house laboratory machines and Radiology Certification is beneficial.
*Overnight Veterinary Technician/Assistant Position* duties include (but are not limited to): Obtaining patient history from owners, assisting veterinarian with physical exams, reviewing estimates and treatment plans, client education, triaging emergent cases, caring for hospitalized and surgical patients, radiology, phlebotomy, filling prescriptions, lab work, recording detailed medical notes and client communications, and basic cleaning/stocking duties.
