JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Provides safe, quality radiation therapy through the utilization of appropriate treatment procedures.
Participates in patient care, education, dosimetry, simulation, treatment planning, mold room duties and maintenance of patient treatment records.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Samaritan Cancer Program offers state-of-the-art, high-energy linear accelerators, which are computer controlled to deliver an extremely precise radiation treatment based on each patient’s customized treatment plan.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
Current unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology required.
If a new graduate, temporary license upon hire and permanent license within six (6) months of hire required.
Current R.
T.
(T)(ARRT) credential required.
If registry eligible, credential within six (6) months of hire required.
One (1) year experience as a staff therapist preferred.
Healthcare Provider BLS required.
