JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Provides lead/resource support for management in the efficient and effective delivery of mammography services.
Promotes excellent patient care through appropriate supervision, evaluation and adequate training of departmental personnel, procurement/maintenance of equipment, QA/QI, development of appropriate policies and procedures, regulatory compliance and protocol development.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Diagnostic Imaging teams at Samaritan Health Services use state-of-the-art imaging technology while providing health care teams with the information needed for a fast, accurate diagnosis.
Imaging services include: X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, CT Scan, Digital Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound services.
We now offer PET-CT scans, the latest in diagnostic imaging technology and one of the most powerful imaging tools that physicians can use to help diagnose and treat patients with cancer and other diagnoses.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Current ARRT RT(R) credential required.
Current unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology required.
Current ARRT Mammography certification or equivalent required.
Three (3) years mammographer experience required.
Healthcare Provider BLS required.
Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
