*Sub Specialty(s):* Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse (ICU) *Job Description:* * *DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION*The Intensive Care Unit provides direct care or influences care for acutely/critically ill patients who are at high risk for actual or potential life-threatening health problems.
The ICU provides care through advanced knowledge and experience in a setting that provides intensive monitoring, assessments, and interventions.
* *EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS*Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS required.
*GSR ICU-CCU:*ACLS, PALS and TNCC preferred.
Previous ICU experience preferred.
Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required due to the College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing.
