The integrated mission of the Department of Environmental & Molecular Toxicology (EMT) is to educate students in the toxicological sciences, to conduct research on the effects of chemicals on humans and the environment and to engage the public through extension and outreach.
This position supports the state-of-the-art and internationally competitive research, outreach and education missions of the university and department related to the field of toxicology, including, but not limited to, environmental chemistry, ecotoxicology, mechanistic toxicology, computational toxicology, environmental health sciences or closely related areas.
The EMT program offers Ph.

degrees and an undergraduate minor in Toxicology with interdisciplinary training on environmental hazards and their interactions with biological systems in order to protect human health and the environment.
This position offers extensive opportunities and expectations for collaborative research both within the department and with Centers of research excellence at OSU, including the Environmental Health Science Center, the Superfund Research Program, the Center for Quantitative Life Sciences, the Linus Pauling Institute, the Mass Spectrometry Center, and NMR Center faculty as well as other academic units across the campus.
