00 FTE), 9-month, fixed-term Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Teaching (Accounting) position.
Reappointment is at the discretion of the Dean.
Primary teaching responsibilities will include delivering undergraduate and/or graduate courses in accounting.
Scholarly activities are expected to result in publications and academic engagement necessary to maintain Scholarly Active status under AACSB guidelines and College of Business policy.
Service includes engaging in appropriate activities within the College, University, and accounting profession (including professional societies), contributing to College and University strategic initiatives, and enhancing student and faculty experiences in the accounting profession.

Key Responsibilities 72% Teaching – teaching responsibilities will include delivering undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting.
18% Scholarly – activities are expected to result in publications that advance knowledge or improve accounting practice.
10% Service – activities include those that enhance student experiences in the accounting program and/or the College of Business, as well as supporting the placement of students in the accounting profession.
What You Will Need A doctorate degree from an accounting program at an AACSB accredited business school.
Evidence of teaching effectiveness.
Evidence of an active research agenda that demonstrates the potential to achieve Scholarly Active status consistent with AACSB guidelines and College of Business policy.
A demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.
For the Associate Professor rank, applicants must also show evidence of: 5 years of full-time experience working as a faculty member at an AACSB-accredited business school.
An appropriate record of scholarship, including continuous maintenance of Scholarly Active status as defined in the COB Faculty Handbook; Sustained effectiveness in teaching, advising, service and other assigned duties.
For the Full professor rank, applicants must also show evidence of: 10 years of full-time experience working as a faculty member at an AACSB-accredited business school.
Distinction and sustained effectiveness in teaching, advising, service and other assigned duties, curricular development, awards and recognition; An appropriate record of scholarship, including continuous maintenance of Scholarly Active status as defined in the COB Faculty Handbook; Exemplary institutional and professional service, and an appropriate balance between the two.
What We Would Like You to Have Applicants who have a record that demonstrates excellence in teaching.
Applicants who have demonstrated the ability to engage with the accounting profession and enhance alumni engagement.
Applicants who have public accounting experience at the Senior level or higher.
Applicants who have demonstrated a capability in supporting and enhancing accounting program excellence through teaching, administration, or service.
Applicants who have delivered a wide variety of accounting courses at the undergraduate or graduate levels.
Applicants who are experienced Assistant Professors at AACSB-accredited business schools.
Applicants that currently possess a record of research and academic engagement necessary to achieve Scholarly Active status consistent with AACSB guidelines and College of Business policy.
Applicants who hold a CPA license (active or inactive).
Working Conditions / Work Schedule Teaching assignments may include course delivery in any format –site-based in-person, asynchronous online, or hybrid combinations of online, site-based in-person, and/or remote instruction.
