OR - Med Surg/CNA 2 only - NOC

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit.
The ideal candidate will provide quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, utilizing their expertise in acute care and medical-surgical nursing.
Responsibilities: - Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure infection control - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians - Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to healthcare providers - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans - Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems like Cerner - Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care Requirements: - Valid State CNA Level 2 Certification - Proficiency in medication administration and knowledge of anatomy - Experience in acute care settings such as hospitals or assisted living facilities - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment Skills: - Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Cerner) - Knowledge of aseptic technique for infection control - Understanding of human anatomy for effective patient care - Experience in acute care settings for medical/surgical patients - Competency in medication administration protocols - Familiarity with assisted living or nursing home environments - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for emergency response Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Travel nursing Pay: $30.
