We are a small town general practice firm.
We have more work coming in than we can take.
We're looking for someone who wants to practice 2 or 3 different areas of law.
Ultimately you choose what areas you want to practice.
We already have plenty of work in Estate Planning, Real Estate, Guardianship/Conservatorships, Small Business, and Bankruptcy that you could work on.
If you are interested in another area, like Family Law or Landlord-Tenant, we could easily get you work in those areas.
We get calls for those every day, but no-one here practices in those areas.
If you have something else in mind, we could probably make that work.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Assist with case management, including organizing and maintaining case files.
- Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.
D.
) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in Oregon.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Ability to draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Familiarity with legal administrative procedures and practices.
- Ability to litigate cases effectively in court.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- We are a general practice civil firm.
We're looking for someone who would like to practice 2 or 3 different areas of law.
Ultimately it's your choice, but some excellent areas in this market include Family Law, Landlord-Tenant, Estate Planning, Guardianship/Conservatorships, Contracts, Real Estate, Bankruptcy, and Small Business.
