We are now hiring dedicated Truck Drivers with at least 3 Months of recent Class A driving experience to operate in OR, CA, NM, CO, and SD.
Must live within 65 miles of Philomath.
Shift Details:
- Sunday-Friday
- Start times: 3am-6am
- Driver will average 10-12 hour days
- Driver will be traveling during the week and will be put in a hotel for layovers
- Holiday work may be required
$2300 weekly average (gross).
Position Details:
Driver will be hauling timber on a bunker trailer to customer sites including, but not limited to OR, CA, NM, CO, and SD.
Driver will be traveling on a weekly basis and must be willing to go where the customer needs them.
Driver will dead head in a day cab to the customer site and then the account will provide a flight back to OR.
Loads are live load/unload by the customer.
Driver will be responsible for strapping down logs and flagging the overhang.
Driver will be responsible for safe operation of the vehicle on gravel and dirt roads, mountain roads, and state highways.
Special Requirements:
Driver must be willing to chain in inclement weather.
Driver must be willing to drive on rural and mountain routes.
Logging experience preferred, but not required.
Steel toe boots and uniform are provided.
Truck Information:
Automatic Western Star day cabs.
Trucks are assigned.
Trucks cannot be taken home for time off.
Other Requirements:
No more than three tickets or accidents in the last three years, no DUI/DWI in the last five years and no criminal charges within the last ten years.
No more than 6 jobs in 3 years.
Must be at least 21 years.
