*Job Description:*
As a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle Driver with Companion Transport, you'll ensure the safety and comfort of passengers with mobility challenges.
Your primary responsibilities include transporting clients to medical appointments, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare facilities, providing necessary assistance for safe boarding and exiting the vehicle.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Safely transport clients with mobility needs to and from their destinations.
* Provide attentive assistance to clients with wheelchair boarding and exiting, ensuring safety at all times.
* Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of the wheelchair-accessible vehicle.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
* Uphold a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with clients.
*Qualifications:*
* 100% Open Availability, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
* Experience or willingness to drive in low-light conditions.
* Valid driver's license with at least 5 years of a clean driving record.
* Minimum age of 21 years.
* Pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a focus on client care.
* Ability to adhere to schedules and efficiently follow designated routes.
* Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance (checking fluid levels).
