JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Transports and delivers specimens, supplies, linens, mail and reports to physician's offices, hospitals and other locations as needed.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Courier Services department is responsible for the pick- up and delivery of mail, specimens, records, supplies and other products that are moved throughout the SHS enterprise.
The service is provided at all SHS sites and routes are defined on order to support the SHS needs.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Two (2) years previous experience in a hospital and/or courier experience preferred.
Successful completion of Drivers Privileges for SHS Vehicles application process required.
