Delivery Driver

Description: The primary responsibility of the Delivery Driver is to drive a vehicle, primarily to deliver or pick up merchandise or to deliver packages.
May load and unload equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
Turn in receipts and money received from deliveries.
Follow the appointed schedule and contact customers when schedule changes Read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions.
Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
Load and unload equipment Prepares and maintains records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Provides assistance to resolve customer issues.

CDL Required Med Card Required KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel software.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 1-2 years of Delivery Driver Experience Valid Driver’s license LANGUAGE AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information to management.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
