In order to perform the rust gas tank refurbishment service effectively, the gas tank must be removed from the motorcycle.
Additionally, petcocks and fuel filters should also be removed to ensure proper access to the interior of the tank for the rust removal and coating process.
The cost for the rust gas tank refurbish service is $400, which includes $150 for materials and $250 for labor.
This pricing is based on the process involved in removing the rust, cleaning, and coating the inside of the gas tank to prevent future corrosion.
The cost also includes a 90 day warranty offered for the work done.
If the gas tank does have a liner that needs to be removed before the rust gas tank refurbishment process can begin, there will be an additional $50 removal service fee.
