1) Submit a recent photo of the animal 2) Provide a description of the animal (Date of birth, size, breed, color etc) 3) Tell us where the animal is while you are at work or away from the unit 4) Tell us what is the longest time period the dog would be home alone.
5) Confirm the animal has been spayed or neutered.
6) ESA letters must be submitted prior to approval and must be less than 1 year old.
They are valid for only 1-year after the date they were written, and will need to be replaced and resubmitted every year prior to their expiration date.
They will respond to let you know if your animal is approved and reply with a copy of our Animal Policy for you to review prior to submitting your application.
Liability insurance that specifically covers pet damages is required, basic renters insurance does not cover damages to the unit, only to the tenants own personal property.
*If your animal is accepted YOU MUST SUBMIT WITH YOUR APPLICATION: No less than 2 written Animal references, one from your current landlord and at least one other from a previous landlord, friend or neighbor who knows the animal well.
We need to know the animal is well behaved, does not make noise to disturb other tenants, does not cause damages and that you clean up after the animal immediately.
These letters must be submitted with the application and include the writer's name, address, phone number or email (preferred).
We need to know the animal is quiet, friendly when outdoors, that you clean up after the animal promptly, that they do not cause damage such as scratching at the doors or floors, breaking the blinds, chewing the cupboards, barking when alone etc.
*Pet deposit required, must equal the deductible amount of the Liability Insurance policy you're required to carry.
